Newsweek’s coverage of the crash of a C17 airliner near Los Angeles has focused on the plane’s passengers, including a pregnant woman who had a severe case of a miscarriage.
The plane crashed Thursday afternoon on a mountain pass in Southern California, and a coroner said that two people were pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the disaster is still under investigation.
The crash killed at least 10 people and injured more than 200, officials said.
It was the worst single-plane crash in U.s. history, with at least 14 deaths and more than 3,000 injuries.
Newsweek’s Adam Rittenberg reports from Los Angeles.
